"Design at a Distance" Program

Buying or renovating a second home in the city? That's wonderful – congratulations!
. . . and then this is what's going through your mind:
"Where can I find a reliable contractor? How on earth can I manage the process when I'm not there? What about problems that may come up during construction? How can I be sure the contractor understands what I want? Who will handle all the deliveries? What would happen if something arrived damaged?"

NEVER FEAR – THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR!

Lifestyle Space Design's 'whole project management' commitment makes us the ideal solution for the design and renovation of pied-a-terre apartments. We have successfully completed projects for clients with second homes in Manhattan, some from as far away as Bogota, Colombia and Shanghai!
By emailing and cloud-filing digital designs, color elevations, mood boards, color schemes, and appliance and fixture tearsheets for review, we can accomplish the entire project remotely. Fabric and finish samples are land or airmailed.
We handle writing scopes of work for all contractors, getting bids and hiring GCs (and architects where necessary), fill out building applications for the client's signature, provide GCs and subcontractors licenses and insurances, manage the project schedule and coordinate with building management and staff.
We monitor every stage of the project, and keep you updated with regular status emails and photos of progress. We are on hand all the time to handle any issues that may occur (and they will!), working with our contractors to provide practical, on-the-spot solutions.
If the client wishes, we can purchase everything required for a turn-key move-in, right down to the teaspoons, stocking the refrigerator and having a bottle of wine chilled for your arrival! In short, we do it all for you!
Our out-of-town clients have the peace of mind that comes from knowing we are taking care of every aspect of the project and keeping them informed every step of the way.
